IEM – Hanover, Germany

The World Championship for the Intel Extreme Masters brought twelve of the world’s best teams back to Germany for the thrilling conclusion. A $100,000 prize pool was up for grabs, with a full five days of action determining the winners.

MLG – Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Major League Gaming stopped over in Providence, Rhode Island, featuring four of the top teams in North America. These teams faced off for their respective shares of $30,000 USD across two days of intense matches.

IEM – Kiev, Ukraine

Kiev, Ukraine was home to the final Intel Extreme Masters stop and the last chance for teams to qualify for its grand finals. Teams from all over Europe and North America competed across four action-packed days for the viewing pleasure of millions.

IEM – New York

The next stop on the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge was in the Empire State, New York. Bringing together some of the most iconic League of Legends teams from all across the globe, fans all over the world gathered online and in person to watch this amazing spectacle.

PAX Prime 2011

PAX Prime 2011 in Seattle, Washington was a great opportunity for our North American fans to get their first hands on with League of Legends: Dominion and to meet all their favorite Rioterz in person.

IEM – Germany

The Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany brought together the top League of Legends teams from around the world to compete for their share of a $32,000 prize pool.

Gamescom 2011

Gamescom 2011 was a fantastic event for League of Legends fans in Europe, who had the opportunity to get their first hands-on with League of Legends: Dominion.

Season One Championship

The first World Championship in League of Legends history. Eight teams from across the globe competed for a $100,000 prize pool in Jönköping, Sweden.

Season One Qualifiers

In May 2011, 16 teams squared off over a weekend to earn the right to travel to Jönköping, Sweden and compete for the Season One Championship. Six teams advanced to vie for the $100,000 prize pool.

Riot vs. Bots

Riot squares off against AI bots in this special event commemorating the introduction of a new game mode: Co-op vs. AI.

Ionia vs. Noxus

A special story-based match between the toughest champions representing two major city-states in Valoran, Ionia vs. Noxus is an event unique to League of Legends.
